PDWC 2006

So it’s about 1:35am in Austin Texas and we just got back from the Purpose Driven Worship Conference at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest. We left Orange County around 3:45 CA time. Getting home this late, sitting inside of the airports and doing nothing is pretty draining!
On the flight home, I started to talking to this guy about what he does for a living. We made great conversation and I even got a free beer out of it. (Yeah, we’re both straight) I was the T-Sip and he was the Aggie. His excuse for buying the beer was that he had never bought a beer for a T-Sip. So I guess I was the first. Who knew it would be a $5 beer on US Airways.
It blows my mind to think about what people do though to make a living. This guy worked for a company that sold vaccines to poultry farmers and large chicken houses. Who would have thought that there was such a thing? It was extremely fascinating to say the least. We talked about his job for over an hour. I now know more about chickens, eggs and the entire process of raising a chicken for food and for their eggs.
I have a few pictures to share from the concerts while at PDWC 2006. I’ll post those soon.
