Someone just commented on my blog asking me something about if I had read what Miller says about what happens to our faith in the middle of nowhere in Texas when he read that's where I was going this past weekend. What book is that? It's been awhile since I read BLJ and Searching for God Knows What so I couldn't remember if it was in one of those or another I hadn't read --- I need to know what happens in the middle of nowhere in TX ex post facto!<br/><br/>Oh, and btw, sharp new look and way to rev it up again. I may need help getting one of those map things! Tight. I always wanted to do the book thing too, oh technogeek. Hmmm, might definitely have to borrow it. The basic idea was to get new dads used to the idea of being a dad by discussing issues and doing some "hands-on" stuff like changing a diaper. (On a side note, I highly recommend practicing this skill before you have kids.)<br/><br/>One thing that really stood out to me was when the guy leading it said that as a father, I would be Lucy's first image of who God is. That is a very humbling and frightening thought. I just pray that I can always be there for my kids no matter what, and that I don't give them the wrong impression of who God is.
