I Don’t Read Enough

I’m sitting in my room after waking up for a serious migraine that came from no where last night. It hit as I have been going through some of the blogs that I read and keep up with a weekly basis that I don’t read enough. Reading is always something that has appeared to be something of higher intellect to me. I’m not saying your dumb if you don’t read (cause I don’t read that often, so I would be calling myself dumb.) But there are tons of books out there that I would love to get my nose in.
For those of you that actually keep up with this blog might notice that the same three books have been in my “currently reading” section on my blog. That’s because I have yet to finish, much less start another one. It’s shameful I know. I guess I will be adding a few more to the section after I close on the new house December 8th. Read some of my previous posts to see what I am talking about.
There’s a pastor at the office that gave a talk during one of our staff meetings where he passed along a one page document of how he wants to spend his time. From spending time with family, to time with God, reading, exercising, being creative, watching TV, etc, it was all outlined in this document. It wasn’t so specific that it listed what times he was do them, just how much time a week he wanted to spending doing the things that will help him better his life (personal and spiritual), his time with his wife and his family.
I was inspired when I read it. I need to see if I can find that again, if not just ask him for it again. The new year is quickly upon us and it would be great to get a head start on those new years resolutions.

Reading is overrated.
