Twisted Sideways » Football http://twistedsideways.net Sun, 29 Aug 2010 23:56:42 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.2 en hourly 1 Football is coming! http://twistedsideways.net/2010/08/29/football-is-coming/ http://twistedsideways.net/2010/08/29/football-is-coming/#comments Sun, 29 Aug 2010 23:56:42 +0000 Rusty http://twistedsideways.net/?p=200 Just one more week until College football begins.  Well technically, it all kicks off this Thursday but the majority of the games begin this weekend and I can’t wait.   UT tickets showed up at the door a few weeks ago and they have been burning a hole in the wall where I hung them on a bulletin board where I usually post tickets, wedding invitations and other things that I need to get to quickly or make sure that I don’t misplace or get lost in the clutter of things!  Anyway, I’m anxious for kick off and to get back into the stadium!

A lot of this excitement has also been spurred on by watching the first three seasons of Friday Night Lights on Netflix.  I’ve been streaming the past three seasons and shamefully admit that I blazed through the first three season in about 2 weeks.  I would have started on season 4 already but Netflix doesn’t have season 4 up for streaming up yet so I’m waiting on the DVD’s to show up.  If you haven’t ever seen it, you should check it out.  My friend Amanda and Doug are also hooked on the show.  Amanda even has an upcoming role (small but still) in Season 5 that just wrapped up filming.

For those of you wanting to attend a UT game this fall, I have two extra tickets for most of the season this year.  One of our buddies is leaving for school for the next three years and has decided to keep the tickets in his name, but passed the possession of them over to me!  So…. Hook ‘Em Horns.
