Twisted Sideways » Photography http://twistedsideways.net Wed, 07 Apr 2010 16:36:43 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.2 en hourly 1 Headed West http://twistedsideways.net/2009/07/08/headed-west/ http://twistedsideways.net/2009/07/08/headed-west/#comments Wed, 08 Jul 2009 22:19:32 +0000 Rusty http://twistedsideways.net/?p=172 In just a few short hours, I am headed West to California, Oregeon, Washington and Vancouver.  I’ll be travleing for about two weeks with some friends on mine that left Austin by car a few weeks ago.  I’m pretty excited about getting out of some of this Texas heat to some cooler tempertaures.  I’m a little nervous about leaving home for so long with a roommate here too.  Not that I don’t trust the guy, but the AC and other things will be running while I am out and I still have a few issues with things working correctly while I’m gone.

While away, I plan to post pics along the way here on the blog and on my Facebook account.  So if your one of the few people that still come around these parts, you’ll be able to check out the pics here and on facebook.  I’m excited about seeing some mountains and just get away from the heat.

Now, I just have to get packed and wake up for a 5am flight!

Recently back from a much needed vacation, I have posted some new pics in my photoblog.  It was an amazing time in Guanajuato, Mexico.  It was nice to be able to put on a fleece and enjoy some much cooler weather. We even missed the huricane. 

It’s been awhile since the ol’ photoblog got some attention but I finally got around to getting some new pics up.  I have it set to post a new pic a day rather than overloading the site with a bunch of new pics.  So you’ll have to come back to check out the other pics each day.

I didn’t realize it, but my photoblog has been offline for some time. I just reposted it and have started making regular updates again. Hopefully this will also force me to get back out and work with my camera again. Check it out here.

I was invited to participate in an invitational photography exibit here in Austin in a few weeks. And in light of my new camera and some of the photos that I am entering, combined with the fact that I have decided to get back into all of this photography, I decided to post a photoblog. I can’t seem to get my RSS feed to work with this blog though to post the most recent addition to the photoblog. Hopefully I will have that working soon.
